These Tuscan Kitchen or dish towels are woven on a jacquard loom with the finest linen and cotton to make them fantastically absorbent. The Rooster pattern is designed and woven by Giuliana Ricami in their workshop in a small town near Siena in the Tuscan Region of Italy.
It is all about the fibers which in this case are healthy and robust packed with fluff. These Italian towels are in total contrast to the bad dish towels that use scrawny fibers which have little fluff (micro fibers) which do all the absorbing and mostly stem which just help smear the water around.
Giuliana Ricami’s quality is what you remember from 30 years ago! Easy care machine wash, hot water (140 degrees farenheit). Some shrinkage as with all natural fibers especially if you use the dryer. Approximately, 20″ by 29″.
